Kadyrov: Sanctions would be good advertisement for Rossiya bank

GROZNY, March 21. /ITAR-TASS/. Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov said on Friday that sanctions imposed on Russia’s Rossiya bank would be good for advertising this credit institution.

“If the United States does not like this bank, it means that it is reliable,” Kadyrov wrote on his page in Instagram. He also said that he would open a salary account at Rossiya bank and suggested opening its branch in Chechnya.

“A decision t o impose sanctions on the bank indicates that it is a reliable, especially if it is disliked by the United States,” Kadyrov went on to say.

“I have decided to open an account at (Rossiya) bank to be able to transfer my salary to a credit card. We are going to request the bank’s leadership to open a subsidiary in Chechnya,” the Chechen president said, noting he expected the bank’s business to go uphill now.
