FMS to decide legal status of Crimeans who may chose not to get Russian citizenship

MOSCOW, March 19, /ITAR-TASS/. Head of the Federal Migration Service of Russia Konstantin Romodanovsky has promised to settle all questions of the legal status of those residents of Crimea who may chose not to get Russian citizenship.

When asked what will happen to Crimeans who may decide against getting Russian citizenship if they find themselves on the territory of another state, the head of the migration service said such situations should be handled as they come about.

“All these questions should be worked out in detail. I can assure you that these questions will be settled,” he stressed.
