In 2014, Russia and UK intended to hold several joint events, most of them due to take place in Russia, Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov noted
MOSCOW, March 19. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said Britain’s decision to suspend military cooperation with Russia cancelled out all agreements, which had been reached earlier.
“Unilateral curtailing of cooperation cancels out all positive agreements, which were reached earlier,” Antonov said.
“In recent times, Russia and Britain have exerted maximum effort to develop military mutually advantageous contracts,” the deputy minister said, adding “Russia praises Britain’s progress in ensuring security of the Olympic Games in London”.
“In 2014, Russia and UK intended to hold several joint events. Most of them were planned to take place in Russia,” Antonov said.
