Russian, Kazakh foreign ministers discuss Ukraine crisis

MOSCOW, March 17. /ITAR-TASS/. The foreign ministers of Russia and Kazakhstan, Sergei Lavrov and Yerlan Idrisov, discussed in a telephone conversation on Monday ways out of the crisis in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry sources said after the telephone conversation initiated by Kazakhstan.

“Positions of the sides were discussed within the context of strategic partnership, in particular on current developments in Ukraine, as well as possible efforts aimed at the settlement of the situation in that country,” they said.
