MOSCOW, March 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Live Journal pages have been excluded from the register of banned sites after the online service’s management had decided to restrict access to the blog of the opposition politician Alexei Navalny, press officer of the Russian media watchdog Roskomnadzor Vadim Ampelonsky told Itar-Tass on Friday.

The page navalny.livejournal.com ended up on the black list on March 13. According to Roskomnadzor, “functioning of this web page violates the court ruling about the restrictive measure for the citizen that was sued”. Following the decision, communication operators started blocking access to this page; the service became totally unavailable for some users.

On the Prosecutor General’s demand, the supervision authority also blacklisted the online resources Grani.ru, Kasparov.ru and Yezhednevny Zhurnal (ej.ru) for urges to illegal actions and unauthorized rallies.
