St. Petersburg seeks to sign cooperation agreement with Crimea

ST. PETERSBURG, March 12. /ITAR-TASS/. St. Petersburg’s authorities are planning to sign an agreement on cooperation with the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

St. Petersburg seeks to sign a similar agreement with Sevastopol, chairman of the city committee for external relations Alexander Prokhorenko said.

“We expect the new leadership of Sevastopol to arrive in St. Petersburg. An invitation has been sent, and we’ll specify the exact date. I hope that it will take at least 1.5-2 months,” the official said.

“The political framework agreement with Sevastopol and Crimea will include a plan of action etc.,” Prokhorenko said.
