State Duma might review simplified citizenship procedure after March 17

MOSCOW, March 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian lawmakers might review a package of documents on simplified Russian citizenship procedure after March 17, speaker of the State Duma lower house of Russia's parliament Sergei Naryshkin said.

Apparently the package of bills might be put up for discussion at a plenary session after March 17, he noted.

Alternative bills simplifying the citizenship procedure were submitted to the State Duma by the Communist, the Liberal Democratic Party and A Just Russia factions.
