MOSCOW, March 07. /ITAR-TASS/. The European Union should realize that Russia will react adequately to any restrictive measures, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

“The EU has lost an opportunity to give an objective and fair assessment to the events in Ukraine,” the ministry said.

“Moscow expresses bewilderment with the results of the European Union’s Council related to a threat to impose sanctions on Russia. The European Union should realize that any restrictive measures will affect the interests of the EU and its member-states,” the ministry said.
