Russia, US agree on number of missile test-launches with telemetric exchange in 2014
MOSCOW, March 02, 1:12 /ITAR-TASS/. Russia and the United States agreed on the number of test-launches of intercontinental ballistic missiles and submarine-based ballistic missiles on which the countries will exchange telemetric information in 2014, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated on Saturday after the 7th session of the Bilateral Consultative Commission of the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty in the Swiss city of Geneva on February 18-28.
“The countries continued talks on practical issues related with fulfilment of the treaty,” the ministry said. “According to treaty’s provisions the countries have taken a decision on the number of test-launches of intercontinental ballistic missiles or submarine-based ballistic missiles on which the countries will exchange telemetric information in 2014,” the Foreign Ministry stated.
