WARSAW, February 17. /ITAR-TASS/. Polish experts have arrived in Russia to recopy cockpit recordings of a Tu-154M presidential plane that crashed near Smolensk on April 10, 2010, the Polish Military Prosecutor’s Office said on Monday.

The Smolensk plane crash killed all the 96 people that were onboard, including the then President of Poland Lech Kaczynski.

Polish investigators already have the data from the plane’s flight recorders deciphered three years ago at their disposal.

“The analysis of the Krakow-based Institute of Forensic Enquiries reveals that experts failed to indentify part of the recorded remarks because of the recording’s poor original quality,” a Polish prosecutor’s office official said.

The Polish experts will now use more effective methods and equipment to listen to the recordings.

Russia and Poland have been holding parallel investigations into the Tu-154M crash since 2010.
