People wounded in last December’s Volgograd bombings taking rehabilitation courses
Patients are taking recuperation courses free of charge
VOLGOGRAD, January 31. /ITAR-TASS/. People wounded in two terrorist attacks staged in the southern Russian city of Volgograd late in last December began to pass rehabilitation courses at sanatoria and medical institutions in Volgograd Region and neighboring regions. Patients are taking rehabilitation courses free of charge, the press service of regional government told reporters.
“Six people are taking rehabilitation courses at sanatorium Mineralnye Vody-2 in Stavropol Territory. Other 21 people decided to take recuperation courses from February to August,” the press service said.
Three wounded people have already passed complete rehabilitation course at Volgograd clinic Akademicheskaya and other two wounded people continue to take recuperation courses at the clinic.
The regional health ministry reported that 80 people were taken to hospital after two terrorist attacks in the city of Volgograd on December 29 and 30. Fifteen people are taking treatment courses at hospitals in Volgograd, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
A suicide bombing was staged at a railway in Volgograd on December 29 and the second terrorist attack was committed in a trolleybus on December 30. The attacks claimed the lives of 34 people.
