MOSCOW, January 30. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman discussed Syria’s chemical problem and Iran’s nuclear programme, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday.

Sherman is currently in Moscow to take part in a session of G8 political directors.
