MOSCOW, January 30. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian bailiffs do not rule out tough sanctions against ex-Yukos Chief Mikhail Khodorkovsky and ex-MENATEP chief Platon Lebedev who were ordered by the Russian court to pay 17 billion rubles they owe to the state, Chief of the Federal Bailiff Service Artur Parfenchikov said at a news conference on Thursday.
Criminal prosecution is not at issue, Parfenchikov said.
Neither any restrictions on exit from Russia have been imposed on Lebedev yet, he said. "First, a bailiff is to meet both debtors or their representatives and clarify their position," Parfenchikov said.
