Airplane landed at Koltsovo airport over a technical malfunction

YEKATERINBURG, January 30. /ITAR-TASS/. Passenger airliner Airbus-320, which belongs to Ural Airlines, has made an emergency landing at Yekaterinburg airport Koltsovo over a technical malfunction on Thursday.

Passengers are staying at the airport building, the flight is delayed, director for strategic communications of the airport Dmitry Tyukhtin told Itar-Tass.

“Neither passengers nor crewmembers were hurt,” he said.

The airbus was on a flight from Yekaterinburg to Namangan. Shortly after the takeoff, the conditioning system in the airliner failed, the press service of the air company noted. “The crew disconnected the broken system and has made a landing at Koltsovo airport. Action of the crew is estimated as qualified. A committee was formed to look into this incident,” the press service reported.
