MOSCOW, January 28. /ITAR-TASS/. All the staff responsible for information reported on the Facebook of the VGTRK holding has been sacked for quoting a statement by an ideologist of Nazis, the press service of the VGTRK holding reported Tuesday.

The VGTRK holding has apologized to visitors to the Facebook, the press service added.

The reason was a quotation about Vladimir Lenin by former Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels. Later, the quotation was withdrawn from the Facebook.

Goebbels’ quotation was placed in the Facebook side by side with the quotations by artist Nikolai Roerich, former British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill, ex-Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, prominent writer and poet Boris Pasternak and other politicians and prominent figures of the middle of the 20th century.
