Moscow worried over provocative actions by Ukrainian radical opposition
MOSCOW, January 21. /ITAR-TASS/. Moscow is worried over provocative actions by radical opposition forces in Ukraine, the Russian foreign ministry said on Tuesday after a telephone conversation between Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin and Ukraine’s First Deputy Foreign Minister Ruslan Demchenko.
The two diplomats discussed the situation in Ukraine, the ministry reported. “The Russian side voiced support to the official statement of the Ukrainian foreign ministry saying that the country’s leaders were committed to spare no effort to settle the situation by peaceful means, on the basis of dialogue,” the ministry noted.
Karasin and Demchenko also discussed “a number of international problems and issues of bilateral cooperation,” the ministry added.
