MAKHACHKALA, January 21. /ITAR-TASS/. A militant has been killed in a special operation in the Kizilyurt district in central Dagestan, a law-enforcement source told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

"There was just one militant in the house blocked by police in the village of Zubutli-Miatli. He has been killed. According to preliminary information, he's leader of the so-called Babayurt gang Elgar Magatov, nicknamed Seifulla. This information is being checked," the source said.
