MOSCOW, January 16. /ITAR-TASS/. State Duma lower house of parliament can consider first reading of anti-terrorism bills at one of first plenary meetings in February, First Vice-Speaker from Communist faction Ivan Melnikov told reporters on Thursday after a meeting of the State Duma Council, which determines the agenda of plenary meetings.
“It will hardly be debated next week, most likely it will be done at one of first plenary meetings in February,” the lawmaker said.
In his words, the chiefs of the Interior Ministry and the Federal Security Service are expected to be invited for this plenary meeting. In the parliament, the chief law enforcers should deliver a report on the terrorist acts in southern Russia’s Volgograd.
