Tougher antiterrorist legislation submitted to Russian parliament

MOSCOW, January 15. /ITAR-TASS/. A package of amendments giving broader powers to the Federal Security Service in combating terrorism and toughening penalties for terrorism has been submitted to the State Duma lower house of Russia's parliament, head of the house committee for security and combating corruption Irina Yarovaya told Itar-Tass.
The authors of the document are representatives of all the four factions of the lower house.
