Doctors consider condition of eight people affected by Volgograd terrorist attacks grave

MOSCOW, January 09. /ITAR-TASS/. Sixty-one people injured in the terrorist attacks in Volgograd are at hospitals in Moscow, Volgograd and St. Petersburg, and eight people are in grave and critical conditions, the Russian Healthcare Ministry’s press service reported on Thursday.

Twenty-two people are at hospitals in Moscow. “Three people are in critical condition and three people are in grave condition. Doctors consider the condition of nine people moderately severe. The condition of seven people is satisfactory,” the press service said.

The condition of an injured person, who is currently at hospital in St. Petersburg, is considered grave, the press service said.

According to the ministry’s data, at least 11 people were discharged from hospital. Five people are undergoing outdoor treatment.

In total, 111 people were hit by the two terrorist attacks. Thirty-four people were killed.

Two terrorist attacks were committed in Volgograd — at the railway station on December 29 and in a trolleybus on December 30. Twenty-four people died and over 70 people were injured.
