WASHINGTON, January 08, 1:20 /ITAR-TASS/. The U.S. State Department on Tuesday confirmed that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry would hold a meeting in Paris on January 13.

Spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of State Jen Psaki made this statement, suggesting that most of these talks would be devoted to questions connected with the Geneva 2 peace conference.

She said that more details were expected in the next 24 hours.
