Russia’s election chief recommends parties to drop services of political strategists

MOSCOW, December 31. /ITAR-TASS/. Chairman of Russia’s Central Election Commission, Vladimir Churov, has wished all the candidates and political parties that will contest in future elections to drop the services of political strategists.

“I think all the candidates and political parties could learn in 2014 how to work with voters on their own without using the services of so-called spin doctors,” he said Tuesday in the course of a teleconference with colleagues from various regions of Russia.

He promised those who are going to take part in the elections “to tap the words and slogans and to invent the promotions that would reach out directly to the hearts and minds of the voters.
