Death toll rises to 15 people in trolley bombing in Russia’s Volgograd

MOSCOW, December 30. /ITAR-TASS/. The death toll rose to 15 people in a suicide bomb attack staged in a trolleybus in the Russian southern city of Volgograd, Volgograd medical services told Itar-Tass on Monday.

“Twelve people died at the blast site, two people died on the way to the hospital, one more person died at the hospital,” a source in the city medical services said. Twenty-seven wounded people are undergoing treatment at the Volgograd hospitals.

On Monday morning, the second terrorist act was staged at a trolleybus over the past day in the city of Volgograd.

On Sunday, a strong bomb was blasted at the railway station in the city, killing 17 people and wounding more than 40 people. According to the latest reports, five people are on the critical list. A terrorist act was committed in a shuttle bus in the city of Volgograd on October 21, 2013, when seven people were killed and more than 40 people were wounded in the bombing.
