Unexploded grenade found at scene of Volgograd act of terror

MOSCOW, December 29, 18:42 /ITAR-TASS/. A grenade has been found on the site of a terrorist act in Russia’s southern city of Volgograd, Spokesman for the Russian Investigations Committee Vladimir Markin told Itar-Tass on Sunday.

“When specialists were examining the site of the blast, they found an unexploded F-1 grenade, which was rendered harmless,” he said. 

A female suicide bomber set off an explosive device at Volgograd’s central railway station at 12:45 Moscow time on Sunday. According to the latest data, the blast killed 15 people. As many as 45 people were wounded.
