Both black boxes of An-12 recovered near plane crash in Russia’s Siberia

MOSCOW, December 27. /ITAR-TASS/. Both “black box” flight recorders have been recovered at the site of an An-12 plane crash in Russia’s Siberian Irkutsk region, a spokesperson for the Investigative Committee’s Eastern Siberian transport investigative department, Nina Kalyush, told Itar-Tass on Friday.

“Both flight recorders of An-12 and bodies of nine people killed in the crash were found. Five bodies had been identified,” she said.

The plane crashed while landing in the territory of an army unit near the railway station of Batareinaya of the East Siberian Railway on Thursday evening, killing all nine people onboard, including six crewmembers.
