Ka-52 Alligator program provides for export of these helicopters

The holding’s plans for serial production of the new civilian helicopters Ka-62 are linked with the Progress plant

ARSENYEV (Primorsky Krai), December 25. /ITAR-TASS/. The development strategy of the Russian Helicopters holding set major tasks before the Progress aviation plant (Arsenyev) that serially produces the Kamov Ka-52 Alligator helicopter gunships, holding’s Director General Aleksander Mikheyev believes.

“We will develop the Ka-52 program not only for the Russian Air Force. We hope that these helicopters will also be exported,” he said at the aviation plant that Russian Air Force Commander-in-Chief Lieutenant General Viktor Bondarev visited on Wednesday.

“The Progress plant and Russian Helicopters have fulfilled the state defense order plan for Ka-52 manufacturing,” Mikheyev said.

He added that the holding’s plans for serial production of the new civilian helicopters Ka-62 are linked with the Progress plant.
