WARSAW, December 19. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia and Poland are set to ease visa rules within the framework of the Cross-Tourism Year, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said after talks with his Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski on Thursday.
“We have agreed to finalize preferential visa regulations within the framework of the Cross-Tourism Year in Russia and Poland,” he said.
“At this stage it would be easy to resolve the issue of switching to visa-free rules between citizens of Russia and the European Union,” he said. “We welcome Poland’s consistent position in favor of this decision.”
