MOSCOW, December 19. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that the basic order should be established in private air companies. He hopes that the aviation authorities will draw proper conclusions after the crash of an airliner Boeing 737 in the city of Kazan, the capital of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, on November 17, 2013.

“The government has already taken several decisions to ensure the safety of the air passengers and will take additional decisions,” Vladimir Putin told a major news conference in the Russian capital on Thursday.

The training of pilots, work permits for foreign pilots in the Russian air companies and the refurbishment of the air fleet are pressing problems in the aviation industry, the president said. “It is needed to do it carefully without undermining the domestic market. I am aware of the position of the trade unions,” Putin said.

“The basic order should be established in the private air companies,” the president noted. He recalled that the company, the airliner of which had crashed in Kazan, “faced the claims, but they neglected them.” “The aviation authorities, the Transport Ministry should draw proper conclusions,” Putin added.
