MOSCOW, December 19, 12:57 /ITAR-TASS/. Igor Pavlovsky, an investigator into a criminal case of embezzlement at the Russian Defense Ministry, has asked the Moscow city court on Thursday to prohibit Yevgenia Vasilyeva, one of the chief suspects in the embezzlement case, to communicate with the mass media on matters connected with the criminal case.
"Speaking to representatives of the mass media, Vasilyeva often informed them about the results of the investigation," Pavlovsky said, adding it might be an attempt to put pressure on the other suspects in the criminal case.
Pavlovsky has also asked the court to prohibit Vasilyeva from going out.
