ST. PETERSBURG, November 22. /ITAR-TASS/. The Kalininsky district court of St. Petersburg has ruled to release on bail Greenpeace activist, Russian citizen Roman Dolgov who is charged within the criminal case over an incident at the Prirazlomnaya offshore Arctic platform.

Dolgov will be released after the bail money is transferred.

St. Petersburg courts have already considered most of the Greenpeace activists’ cases; on Friday they are to consider the last 2 of the total 30.

The Greenpeace activists and their ship Arctic Sunrise were arrested in September over a protest at Russia’s first Arctic drilling rig in the Pechora Sea.

The courts have mostly been making decisions to release the defendants from arrest. The court demanded bail of 2 million roubles ($61,500) for each of them. Some of the Greenpeace activists have already left the detention facility. The only person denied bail by court was Australian citizen Colin Russell. On Thursday, the Primorsky district court ruled to keep him under arrest for three more months - until February 24. The defence lawyers have appealed the ruling.
