MOSCOW, November 13, 16:28 /ITAR-TASS/. Deputy Secretary of United Russia's General Council Sergei Zheleznyak will be in charge of the Party's ideology, replacing Andrei Isayev.

Isayev is head of the parliament's committee for labor, social policy and veterans. In mid-October, United Russia's presidium met his request to relieve him of his duties as deputy secretary of the Party and suspended his membership in its presidium.

Zheleznyak is deputy speaker of the State Duma lower house of Russia's parliament.
