GENEVA, September 12 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov believes that the latest events are making it possible to convene an international Geneva-2 conference on Syria.

“We think that the development of events is giving us a chance to convene the Geneva-2 conference on Syria that will help ending a military standoff,” Lavrov said.
