South Ossetia, Russia to cooperate in investigating criminal cases

TSKHINVAL, August 24 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Interior Ministry officials met with their South Ossetian colleagues on Saturday, August 24, to discuss further cooperation, including in the investigation of concrete criminal cases.

“We discussed a number of measures to move from technical and material aid and assistance in ensuring public order to joint work on specific criminal cases,” Russian Deputy Interior Minister Igor Zubov said after talks with South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov.

Zubov, who is in South Ossetia on a working visit, also met with its Interior Ministry senior officials.
