MOSCOW, August 2 (Itar-Tass) - U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul has discussed with Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov the new status of ex-CIA employee Edward Snowden.

“Ambassador McFaul met today Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov to discuss Russian-U.S. relations,” says the US embassy’s Twitter message.

“They discussed issues of nuclear weapons reduction, missile defence, Syria, trade, human rights and the new status of Snowden,” the embassy reported.
