"It is necessary to judge on Tehran’s policy by its deeds and by its smile," the Israeli prime minister said

BERLIN, July 20 (Itar-Tass) - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s policy varies little from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s policy that is why the Western countries “should not tone down its attitude towards Tehran”, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu said all important decisions in Iran were being taken by Ayatullah Ali Khamenei. “Rouhani’s position varies from Khamenei’s stance on producing nuclear weapons,” the Israeli prime minister said.

In his view, “the new Iranian president tries to mislead the Western countries.” “Rouhani criticized his predecessor Ahmaninejad for he would a wolf in wolf’s clothing. He said it was necessary to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing, i.e. to smile and produce bombs,” Netanyahu said, adding, “Iran should be allowed to play this game.”

“It is necessary to judge on Tehran’s policy by its deeds and by its smile,” the Israeli prime minister said.

At the same time, Netanyahu said Iran “has not outrun the line in relations with the United States. But when Tehran outruns it this will be late”.

“We take care of ‘this late’ did not come,” Netanyahu said.
