The State Duma speaker believes anti-corruption legislation has been formed to the full extent
MOSCOW, July 11 (Itar-Tass) - State Duma speaker Sergei Naryshkin said Russia’s anti-corruption law “has been formed”.
“I believe anti-corruption legislation has been formed and to the full extent. We should monitor how it operates,” Naryshkin told a press conference at the Itar-Tass news agency on Thursday.
Answering a question if the ban on foreign financial assets for candidates for an elective office is excessive, the Duma speaker stressed: “This is the law. In any rule-of-law state the law should be complied with.”
