ARKHANGELSKOYE /Moscow region/, June 1 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister and the founder of Rodina /Fatherland/ party Dmitry Rogozin attended the party congress on Saturday.
However, his speech was behind closed doors. As the congress was over, he chose not to communicate with the press.
Only the party’s chairman, Alexei Zhuravlev, participated in a news conference. He demonstrated to reporters a Kalashnikov gun, which the party’s founder had presented to him. On May 30, Rogozin was in Udmurtia, where he chaird a meeting on organisation of the Kalashnikov Concern, which would unite two enterprises - Izhmash and Izhmekh.
