All-Russia People’s Front organising committees to be created in all regions by May 20
The founding congress will take place on June 11-12 to transform the Front into a public movement
MOSCOW, May 6 (Itar-Tass) - Organising committees of the All-Russia People’s Front will be created in all Russian regions by May 20, said Andrei Bocharov, head of the organising committee for preparing the Front’s founding congress.
Bocharov told Itar-Tass: “As it was scheduled our initiative groups will start working in all Russian regions by May 20. This will allow the Front to be really all-Russian.”
He said Moscow and St Petersburg would be the latest regions where the All-Russia People’s Front set up their offices. The founding congress will take place on June 11-12 to transform the Front into a public movement.
On May 6, the Front marks its 2nd anniversary. In Volgograd President Vladimir Putin initiated the creation of the Front. Its major goal was to create a public association based on public organisations and political parties with the involvement of citizens who share common values and are ready to act jointly for the sake of the country.
