MAKHACHKALA, April 30 (Itar-Tass) - An explosion near a shopping center in Dagestan’s capital Makhachkala killed two civilians - a woman and a child, on Wednesday, a source in the republican Interior Ministry said.

The incident occurred in Irchi Kzak Street at 12:25 Moscow time.

An investigation is in progress.
