Two die, eight injured in traffic accident in Bryansk region

“The Opel driver and passenger died instantly, the minibus driver and seven passengers were hospitalized,” the spokesman said

MOSCOW, April 20 (Itar-Tass) - Two persons died and eight more were injured in a road accident in the Bryansk region in the small hours on Saturday, a spokesman for the Russian interior ministry told Itar-Tass.

According to the spokesman, the accident took place at about 06:00 a.m. Moscow time at the 361st kilometer of the Ukraine federal highway. According to preliminary information, an Opel car with two Tajik nationals inside ran onto the oncoming lane to ram a minibus.

“The Opel driver and passenger died instantly, the minibus driver and seven passengers were hospitalized,” the spokesman said.

An investigation is underway.
