Medvedev arrives in Brasilia
The Russian prime minister will participate in a 6th meeting of the Russian-Brazilian cooperation committee of high level
BRASILIA, February 20 (Itar-Tass) – Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev arrived in Brasilia.
On Wednesday, the Russian premier will have a meeting with Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff to discuss Russian-Brazilian partnership and practical cooperation in trade and economic, investment, scientific, energy, educational and other spheres.
Meanwhile, the Russian prime minister will participate in a 6th meeting of the Russian-Brazilian cooperation committee of high level. Medvedev heads the committee jointly with Brazilian Vice-President Michel Temer. Medvedev will also have a separate meeting with him.
During the visit the Russian prime minister will confer Russian state medals on Brazilian citizens, who made a major contribution in the development of bilateral cooperation with Russia.
The visit of the Russian prime minister in Brazil will round off on February 21. From Brasilia Medvedev will go to Havana, where he will have negotiations with the Cuban leadership.
