A police lieutenant driving his personal UAZ struck a man who was crossing the road at a place for pedestrians

MOSCOW, February 3 (Itar-Tass) - A policeman’s car hit a pedestrian in Moscow on Saturday evening, a Moscow police source said.

At about 19:00, at Musa Dzhalil Street,a police lieutenant driving his personal UAZ struck a man who was crossing the road at a place for pedestrians.

After the examination by ambulance specialists, the pedestrian refused to be hospitalized and left the site, but later he went to a hospital.

An inquiry is launched into the case. After the inquiry, the policeman most likely will be dismissed, and his superiors will be brought to disciplinary account, the press service source said.
