PYONGYANG, January 24 (Itar-Tass) — The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) is planning to effect new launchings of rockets and conduct a nuclear test, says a statement issued by the National Defense Committee (NDC) here on Thursday.

"We do not conceal that all the launchings of satellites and long-range rockets, just as a large-scale nuclear test, will be targeted against the United States," the NDC statement points out.
