Almost 20,000 people left without electricity in Dagestan

There have been no early reports about what caused the blackout

MOSCOW, December 30 (Itar-Tass) — Almost 20,000 people in Dagestan have been left without electricity in the southern republic of Dagestan, a source from the regional department of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations has told Tass.

“Power failure occurred in ten settlements of the Nogai region at 7:40 pm Moscow time,” the source specified, adding that over 18,000 people live in these settlements. There have been no early reports about what caused the blackout. Repair work is underway.
