MOSCOW, December 7 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev does not believe in doomsday, but asks Russians to prepare well for the end of the year in order to have a good New Year mood.

“I would like to say a few words about the doomsday,” he said with a smile answering the final question of the interview with Russia’s five leading television channels. “I do not believe in the doomsday, but I do believe that the year will end, and we should get ready for it in order to meet the New Year in with good moods.”

“I have various emotions /from the going year/, as any other person does, but in general I am pleased with how my life is going, I have an interesting and important work. It is very important for any person to be surrounded with close people who assist in coping with difficulties any person faces.”
