MOSCOW, January 11. /TASS/. Russian air defense forces on duty shot down a Ukrainian drone over the Rostov Region in the country’s south, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported.

"Last night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack with the use of a UAV [unmanned aerial vehicle] against facilities on Russian soil was thwarted. Air defense forces on duty destroyed a Ukrainian drone over the Rostov Region," the ministry said.
