MOSCOW, January 11. /TASS/. Russian air assault teams stormed and took Ukrainian positions near Verbovoye in the Zaporozhye direction as they improved their positions on the frontline, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

During aerial reconnaissance, Russian paratroopers discovered the enemy’s key firepower and control outposts, which were later hit by air strikes and artillery fire.

The paratroopers suppressed enemy resistance and destroyed Ukrainian units that opposed them, the ministry added.
