MOSCOW, January 8. /TASS/. Over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have fired more than 100 ammunition into populated areas of the Belgorod region, and several attacks have also been carried out using UAVs. As a result of the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a house and power lines were damaged, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said in his Telegram channel.
"In the Belgorod region, eight artillery shells were fired at the village of Zhuravlevka, two artillery shells were fired at the village of Shchetinovka. Also. in Shchetinovka, one explosive device was dropped from a UAV. There were no casualties or destruction in these settlements," he stated, adding that one private residential building in Razumnoye was damaged as a result of the air defense operation.
Gladkov added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled an industrial zone in Shebekino, Belgorod region. There were no injuries. According to the governor, operational and emergency services are inspecting the scene for damage.
