One person injured after Ukrainian attack on Sevastopol
The rescue services have rushed to the scene
SEVASTOPOL, January 4. /TASS/. Russian forces are shooting down a large number of aerial targets over Sevastopol, one person was injured, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev wrote on his Telegram channel.
Razvozhayev earlier said that the Russian military was repelling an attack of the Ukrainian armed forces.
"The military is working to destroy a large number of various aerial targets. A piece of shrapnel hit a residential building on Glukhova [Street]. One casualty was preliminary reported," he wrote. "The rescue services have rushed to the scene."
The governor also called on residents of Sevastopol to keep calm and follow safety precautions, and stay in temporary shelters or safe places.
"The main thing is not to stay in open spaces. When air defenses operate, shrapnel poses the biggest danger," the governor added.
