MOSCOW, January 1. /TASS/. The Russian Armed Forces’ capabilities are growing, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with service members.

According to him, an army’s effectiveness depends on its ability to focus on crucial goals and respond to the situation in terms of the production of weapons and their use in combat. "We are getting better at it, perhaps, better than all others," Putin noted. "The capabilities of the Russian Armed Forces are growing significantly," he added.

According to the president, the ability to use advanced methods of warfare was "a great advantage" that the Russian Armed Forces have obtained.
